I am a developer with a particular passion for platform-agnostic C# development, as well as all things concerning the .NET framework. My professional background includes some ancient history as a Coldfusion developer, an identity crisis as a salesman and marketer, and over 10 years of enterprise-level Microsoft stack development. I am guilty of being obsessively excited about Apple products, the revitalization of Microsoft, functional programming, web client binding frameworks, science, philosophy, and alpine skiing.

I like to solve problems with software. And occasionally hardware, too. And sometimes by just thinking aloud and chatting with other great minds.

Tasked with leading the newly created Webinar Team. Using C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, and GoToWebinar API built numerous team-wide systems, including our project management system (Timeline), a link shortneing tool (not yet deployed), PowerPoint merging tool, and a video transcoding utility. Increased webinar reach and attendance by 60%+ and initiated company-wide marketing webinars.

Originally brought in as a consultant to help complete Collette's internal reservation and product development system (NEO), and was instrumental in its completion. Later as fulltime employee helped maintain Neo system as well as build enchancements, helped in development of new website, ported company-wide reports from VB6 to SQL Reporting Services, and built a Training Management system for the Training department. Advised Website team on launch of 2010 website.

Designed, built, and launched social media sports site, and was project lead for a dynamic Flash/ActionScript application for PGCalc. Improved SQL performance for multiple clients. developed applications and websites for clients using a wide variety of languages, including C#, ASP.NET, VB6, and ColdFusion.

Developer @ GLAD Works

from October 2005 to July 2006

Built websites for clients such as Gulf Oil, Wyeth, and Groden Schools. Maintained company Exchange and IIS servers. Started private-label CMS intiative using DotNetNuke and Drupal. Programmed ASP.NET, ColdFusion, and PHP solutions for multiple clients and was instrumental in landing contracts. Also performed other tasks to benefit the company, including installing and maintaining company Exchange server, building IIS server environments, and implementing new project management software.

Lead Developer @ WinCampaign

from June 2005 to October 2005

Ported legacy ASP applications to ASP.NET. Refactored database design and increased efficiency by over 50%. Was in the process of creating multilingual option and new database import tools when software was aquired and operations moved to Washington D.C.
